BENZINO GETS SENTENCED FOR BRINGING LOADED GUN TO AIRPORT
We haven’t really heard from rapper Benzino in a while. After he and his wife Althea got kicked kicked off of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta for squaring up with the show’s stars Stevie J and Josline, the couple has been laying low. But like most stars these days, staying out of the headlines has been a real task for Zino.
After taking a loaded 9 mm through a TSA checkpoint in Atlanta, Benzino has finally learned what his punishment will be. According to TMZ, the rapper turned reality star will have to do 700 hours of community service, pay a $500 fine and take a course in gun safety. The class will take 60 days to complete.
Why did Zino think he could get away with bringing a loaded gun to the airport port 9/11? He claims that he “took the wrong laptop bag.” While 700 hours is a long time, we’re sure Benzino rather take that then spend 700 hours in jail. Here’s some advice Zino, next time you head to the airport, you better make SURE you have the right laptop bag.
