Busta Rhymes Face Consequences For Throwing A Protein Drink

Busta Rhymes got himself into some trouble at the gym and was arrested and charged with assault and his weapon of choice… A PROTEIN DRINK! The rapper was at a New York City gym when he threw a protein drink at a gym employee’s head and left him with a cut on his head.

According to Rolling Stone, witnesses inside the gym said that Rhymes was arguing with the victim because he refused to let him bring in a cameraman to record his workouts. The next day, he and the employee got into it again and when things escalated, Rhymes’ protein drink met with the Steel Gym employee’s face.

Rhymes was arrested but was released from custody this morning and must appear in court on November 6th. Following his release, Rhymes posted a picture on Instagram with the caption

Thanks to everyone who helped expedite this evening for me. I’m good and we’re back to the grind. Heading 2 the studio 2 turn the bullshit into GREATNESS. I’m super good. #THECONGLOMERATE.
