Published

on

Lil Wayne has a strong sense of mind and being the rapper that he is sometimes things are said without giving it some deep thought. According to USATODAY,  Lil Wayne made waves after saying the Black Lives Matter movement has “nothing” to do with him. It’s obvious that Lil Wayne is an African American man but for this to be said it’s a bit outrageous. This is what was said in the interview he had with NBC news Linsey Davis,  “I don’t feel connected to a damn thing that ain’t got nothing to do with me.”

If you are familiar with Lil Wayne then you would know that this isn’t the first time around where he makes a comment about race. The rapper has apologized on Wednesday in reports to TMZ, saying  “When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a b***h and a h*, i got agitated from there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses.” Is what Lil Wayne telling us fans, and audience really something we should take under consideration on believing him?
