Donald Trump Say Bye Bye To Macy’s

After announcing his bid for Presidency, ultra-conservative billionaire Donald Trump has managed to alienate pretty much all of his business partners over the span of two weeks. After making some pretty racist statements about Mexican immigrants, calling them “rapists” and “murderers”, Trump has been facing a hefty amount of backlash, all the while losing very lucrative business deals, left and right.

On Wednesday, Macy’s announced that the Trump menswear collection — and the man behind the brand — are no longer a good fit for its store.

“We welcome all customers, and respect for the dignity of all people is a cornerstone of our culture,” the Cincinnati-based company said in a statement. “We are disappointed and distressed by recent remarks about immigrants from Mexico. … In light of statements made by Donald Trump, we have decided to discontinue our business relationship.”

NBC and Univision have already cut ties following Trump’s comments, and now a few golf organizations are following their lead. The LPGA, PGA, and USGA are all distancing themselves from The Donald after he claimed that he had their support. This week, they released this statement:

“In response to Mr. Trump’s comments about the golf industry ‘knowing he is right’ in regards to his recent statements about Mexican immigrants, we feel compelled to clarify that those remarks do not reflect the views of our organizations,” the joint statement to the Golf Channel said. “While the LPGA, PGA of America, PGA Tour and USGA do not usually comment on presidential politics, Mr. Trump’s comments are inconsistent with our strong commitment to an inclusive and welcoming environment in the game of golf.”

Yikes! It looks like Donald doesn’t have as much support as he thought he did!
