#CherryJuice: Malia Obama Signs On As Intern For Lena Dunham’s “Girls”
Malia Obama has reportedly joined the “Girls” team as a summer intern. Malia was spotted outside of Aurora Restaurant in Brooklyn, New York on Thursday spending time on the set of Dunham’s HBO comedy series, Girls. The now 17-year-old spent about three hours on location, there were no sightings of any other Obamas during the visit.
Lena Dunham is also a fan of Malia sine the actress tweeted Malia two years ago.

This isn’t the first time Malia has worked on a television project. Last year she was a production assistant on the CBS sci-fi series “Extent”, starring Halle Berry. Back in 2012, First Lady Michelle Obama told People about her daughter’s interest in Hollywood.
“Malia has expressed some interest in filmmaking. Just like her father, she is an avid reader, and she enjoys movies. But she’s a freshman, so she also knows she has years in college to explore her interest,” Mrs. Obama said.
The show creator,Dunham, has yet to confirm whether or not Malia is working on set for the summer.
