Meek Mill takes a deal on NY reckless driving case

Hold up wait a minute! Meek Mill has taken a deal after being arrested back in August. He was arrested for reckless driving while shooting a music video in New York City.

On Wednesday, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office confirmed that the Philly rapper has accepted a deal, known as ACD.
Mill’s is required to finish 30 hours of community service, he already completed 20 of those hours.
Moving forward, after he finishes the required hours for community service, the case will be sealed and dismissed. With no record on file, only if he doesn’t get arrested again within the next six months. Let’s hope he doesn’t!

According to TMZ, The MC’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, spoke with them about the new deal, criticizing the police department’s involvement in the case. “This swift resolution vindicates Meek and clearly shows how outrageous the police department’s conduct is in this case,” says Tacopina.

Meek Mill mentioned that he was not given any traffic ticket at the time of the incident, nor did they arrest him while they were aware of him recklessly driving on the dirt bike.

Hopefully, Meek Mill will lay off the dirt bikes for a while!
