#CherryJuice: Rosie Perez Says Farewell To ‘The View’ [WATCH]

And Another One Bites The Dust, Bye Rosie!

It seems that ABC’s The View has had a never ending revolving door with co-hosts joining the panel and then leaving and now actress Rosie Perez is the next to say farewell to the show. The news of Perez’s departure broke on Tuesday after the show’s executive producer, Bill Wolff, told his staff she has “decided to leave the show at the conclusion of this season to pursue full time her love for acting.”

During Wednesday’s show, Perez addressed the news with a tearful goodbye.

“Well, you guys all heard it: I’ve decided that it’s time to move on,” she said. “And I will say that today is very bittersweet for me.”

Perez will be leaving The View at the end of the season in August but of course when one departs another arrives. Comedian Michelle Collins, who has been a frequent guest host on the show, will be the new addition to the shows panel, replacing Perez.
