Transgender model Amiyah Scott is reportedly the newest addition to Bravo’s series Real Housewives of Atlanta. Since NeNe Leakes announced her departure from the show earlier this year and Claudia Jordan was booted from the show, fans of RHOA have been wondering who would be filling in their shoes. According to TMZ, Amiyah Scott will be among the new cast members along with Facts of Life star, Kim Fields.
Scott, who was born Arthur, began her transformation when she was 17 and describes herself as a model, makeup guru, and a weaveologist according to her Instagram page. Although she is not an official Housewife, she did start filming with the RHOA production crew last night at an event held by Kenya Moore.
“Amiya is a friend of Kenya’s,” a source tells E! News, “and she was at an event that Kenya threw last night. So she filmed last night. Other than that, she’s having conversations with production. Talks are happening but it’s too soon to say what will come of it.”
On the other hand, Kim Fields will be officially named a Housewife and will be very much involved in the new season.
