Justin Comb’s new show, “Respectfully Justin,” is a seemingly new twist in the digital talk show space. Co-hosted by viral social media personality Justin LaBoy, the show looks to capture the vibes of hilarious and highly relatable conversations inspired by memes and internet reactions. It appears to be off to a great start thanks to some comments from its first guest, Chris Brown.
During its “Toxic Valentine’s Day” premiere episode on Sunday, February 14, Combs and LaBoy questioned Brown about some of the going-on in his personal life. At one point, he was pressed about whether he was single or taken. The 31-year-old singer has been connected to some very famous women in the past, most notably singer Rihanna and actor Karrueche Tran. He openly flirts with the mother of his latest child, Ammika Harris, and posts loving admirations and stories of family vacations on his social media. Chris has not yet made a clear definitive message as to whether he’s in a relationship with Harris or not. So when the singer revealed his relationship status with a reply, “I’m single with a girlfriend,” it garnered some strong reactions from dedicated fans. When asked to explain what that meant, Brown laughed and asked for a shot instead.
Fans and social media users have split emotions were split in their reactions to Breezy’s comments. Some labeled him as being ‘toxic’ and childish for the indecisiveness towards the women he may or may not be dating. Some others thought it was hilarious while honest at least. I fall into the camp of it not being any of our business, so it’s best to watch and laugh. What are your thoughts? Is Chris wrong for this statement?
