The comedian, Chris D’Elia, takes a hit at Bone Thugs-n-Harmony on the latest episode of his podcast, Congratulations.
D’Elia is most known for his spotlight on Eminem impersonations. He even made a special appearance in Logic and Slim Shady’s Homicide music video. It seems D’Elia may have dug himself into a hole when he decided to diss the rap group in his 210th episode.
According to HipHop DX, D’Elia began the podcast stating, “First of all, worst name for a rap group ever.” He then continues by saying, “And I love how there were four of them… and then 950 of them. Like, they were so successful. It was such a moment in rap history. [D’Elia then begins singing ‘Da Crossroads.’] Could only be popular in ’99. Bizzy Bone, Layzie Bone, fucking Grumpy Bone, ya know? Grumpy Bone sounds like marriage sex. But yeah dude… Grumpy Bone.”
Chris D’Elia states that “he’d rather throw stick around” than actually listen to all the lyrics. He then proceeds to target Bizzy Bone, who had experienced a traumatic childhood, and called him “out to lunch.”
“Once I was at the comedy store — and this was years ago — and I was talking to somebody on the patio of the comedy store and Bizzy Bone… actually, I didn’t even see him, I hear him,” he says. “I hear from the background, ‘Pardon my muthafuckin’ interruption, pardon my muthafuckin’ interruption’ … that’s what I hear and I look over and it’s Bizzy Bone just talking at me and whoever I’m talking to.” He continues to say Bizzy Bone was honored his name because he’s “too busy fucking interrupting people, that’s for sure”.
D’Elia has had his fair share of controversial issues. Chris had been accused of violating several teenage girls in June of 2020. The accusations took off on Twitter following a woman with the username @girlpowertbh. She wrote, “I still can’t believe Netflix cast Chris D’Elia as the pedophile in Season 2 of ‘You’ like the literal IRONY.”
The controversial comedian then went on to slam Bizzy while playing a video stating he threw up in his mouth about 3 times. There is no comment from any of the members of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, who cancelled his appearance in the 2021 Verzuz.
