Ciara is the Newly Appointed Face of Roberto Cavalli
Lately, we’ve been seeing a lot of diversity in the world of high fashion. Christian Dior recently announced that Rihanna would be the first Black face of the brand, and now Ciara is making waves as the newly appointed face of Roberto Cavalli.
The images for Cavalli’s Fall/Winter 2016 ad campaign were released today, and they are absolutely stunning. Ciara looks breathtaking, of course, as the singer has always been quite model-esque.
The Roberto Cavalli team describes the spread:

Ciara is captivating, and as “Team Cavalli” stated: she “embodies beauty with a hint of wildness,” wearing everything from long gowns, to jumpsuits, to funky coordinates.
I’m glad to see more women of color being acknowledged in the fashion world. For such a long time, they’ve been overlooked. Not sure if the sudden shift can be attributed to the evolution of pop culture, or if major designers are just finally realizing that people of color are also major consumers of their brands.
Whatever the case may be, we are excited about what’s happening in the world of fashion, and we congratulate Ciara on her latest milestone!
