Coi Leray did not disappoint in her freestyle for the 2021 XXL freshman class
Upcoming rapper and 2021 XXL Freshman Coi Leray released her freestyle on Youtube on July 5. In the minute-long video, she showcased her rap styles and flow.

Coi kept it real in the first half, and hype in the second half of her freestyle. In the beginning, her freestyle delivered some real bars about her lifestyle and struggle. In the second half, she switched up her flow, resembling that of Playboi Carti and other similar rappers. Coi clearly has a good understanding of her flow and ability on different rhythms. Overall, The collection of XXL freshmen contains a wide range of flows and lyrical abilities, and Coi Leray has a bit of everything in her freestyle.

The Boston-native rapper set the standards for her up-and-coming rap career already; however, she further made her name through this freestyle. Hopefully, this freestyle hints at an album in the near future. Considering she made her name and became a part of this year’s freshman class, we know Coi Leray has nowhere to go but up!
