The New Chuck Taylors by Converse

Converse’s Chuck Taylors have been a staple in so many cultures for decades. Basketball, fashion, skateboarding, hiphop, and the list goes on. They are the most versatile sneaker, universally known and carry with them their history of longevity. July 28th though, after nearly 100 years, the sneaker will be re-introduced with an upgrade. Not necessarily considered a long-term walking shoe, the company insist the upgrade will be a more comfortable style, keeping the staple design the shoe has had. Per the official press release, there will be an ‘addition of a Lunarion Sockliner for cushioning and support a soft Micro-Suede lining and padded non-slip tongue for comfort around the ankle and instep.’

The price will also experience an adjustment of about $15, putting the shoe around the $70-75 range.
