According to HotNewHipHop, DaBaby has been facing major backlash over his new single “Sneaky Link Anthem”. Fans wonder if the North Carolina rapper switched up his sound as his flow sounds unusual. Although fans have been asking for something different, the new R&B song DaBaby delivered is not what fans were expecting.
“Sneaky Link Anthem” is a slow song that suggests keeping an intimate relationship a secret. Some fans had a negative reaction to the song and compared it to the rapper’s former relationship with Dani Leigh. As many fans are aware DaBaby and Leigh share a daughter together, and their relationship hasn’t been the greatest.
The Shaderoom shared a video that was posted on DaBaby’s Instagram story where he is seen watching his music video to “Sneaky Link Anthem.” He says in the video, “They hate on me and it’s okay,”
DaBaby also dropped another song
Complex reports the rapper released another song called “Couple Cubes of Ice.” This song is also quite different than his usual vibe. While still keeping his rapid monotone verses, Dababy delivers a high-pitched hook. This song seems to get more of a positive reaction from fans.
