After DaBaby’s homophobic remarks in Miami, people were not expecting him to return to the stage for a while. Yet, return he did. He shocked the crowd as a surprise guest for 50 Cent’s concert.

50 performed a set at Rolling Loud, New York. Towards the end, DaBaby showed up for a guest appearance. Ultimately, the audience was excited to see the rapper on stage. They even helped him crowd surf!

The Rolling Loud Controversy

Rolling Loud is significant for DaBaby’s return. It was during the festival set in Miami back in July when he told audience members to only put their hands up to party, “If you didn’t show up today with HIV/AIDS or other STDs that’ll make you die in 2-3 weeks” and “Fellas, if you didn’t suck a n**** d*** in the parking lot.”

He later attempted to apologize, but he only made things worse. He claimed his fans aren’t, “nasty gay n****s” or “junkies.” He later deleted the apology video.

50 Cent to the rescue

50 Cent has always been on DaBaby’s side since the beginning. In August, 50 commented,  “He’s only two years into his career. There’s no artist development,” he continued, “There’s no strong A&R in this. There’s definitely no media training.” He added that DaBaby will “bounce back,” stating, “Remember, they tried to cancel Chris Brown five or six times.”

Rolling Loud knew about this surprise guest, according to TMZ. The outlet’s Instagram showed a snippet of the performance. However, his portion of the concert was cut from the live stream. Here’s a snippet of his performance.
