On Tuesday, November 2, DaBaby announced his Live Show Killa Tour. The tour is “presented” by Rolling Loud, scoring the tour deal less than a month before his return to the festival in New York.

Previously, the rapper made some extremely homophobic comments at Rolling Loud, resulting in uproar amongst fans of the festival.

DaBaby’s Rolling Loud Speech

“If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up.” He continued, “Ladies, if your pu**y smell like water, put your cellphone light in the air. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d*ck in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up.”

On Thursday, November 4, a representative for Rolling Loud also spoke with TMZ, expressing their decision to stand behind DaBaby’s upcoming tour. The representative states that the festival “supports second chances” and believes the rapper has “grown and learned from his experience.”

Lollapalooza cancelled DaBaby’s set as a result of his homophobic comments.

Back in August, DaBaby met with nine HIV awareness organizations and apologized for his “inaccurate and hurtful comments.” Moreover, DaBaby engaged in the numerous group conversations, opening himself up to the truth about HIV and its impact on the black and LGBTQ communities. “With deep respect, we appreciate that he openly and eagerly participated in this forum of black people living with HIV. This will provide him an opportunity to learn and to receive accurate information.”

DaBaby also made multiple attempts at apologizing on social media, one of which is now deleted. In a subsequent freestyle, “Essence,” he addressed those trying to “assassinate” his character.

Everyone Will Be Welcome At The Shows!

The Rolling Loud representative reassured fans that “everyone will be welcome at the shows,” especially the LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS communities.

Regardless of his alleged redemption, the LGBTQ Nonprofit Relationship Unleashed will not be supporting DaBaby’s upcoming tour. CEO Gwendolyn D. Clemons says, “We vehemently deny this assertion and the reporting does not align with our values or mission.”
