Dave shared a personal moment with the audience during a stop on his current tour for the critically acclaimed album “We’re All Alone In This Together”. He began reading a message his mother left him that touched fans at the venue. “I’m very proud of you and your brothers and for all of our journeys,” she mentions along with a story about a time the family was broken due to immigration. Dave is easily one of the most successful UK rappers out right now and is known for his music’s personal & insightful subject matter. Not only does his discography have gold & silver plaques, but he even won a BRIT award last month. That night, Dave deservingly took home the award for “Best Hip-Hop, Rap, Grime Act”. Right now, he’s in the middle of touring despite some issues that occurred recently. A few upcoming show dates were moved due to a severe weather storm in the UK this week.
In short, Dave is an incredible artist & human being. His journey is more interesting & layered than the average recording artist.
