David Bowie Passes Away at the Age of 69
Legendary singer David Bowie has passed away at the age of 69. An innovator in the music world whose iconic voice made an impact in the pop music world, lost his battle with cancer, but has won in life by creating influential music that inspired many rock stars and hip hop artists alike. His beats were sampled by many rappers such as Jay-Z (the takeover), Biggie (Been around the world), and who can forget Vanilla Ice (Ice Ice Baby), who sampled his music without authorization and went through an enormous legal battle that eventually led to the end of his rap career.
David Bowie will forever immortalize pop music and his songs are still extremely popular even til this day. Bowie is survived by his 2 kids and his wife of 23 years, former supermodel, Iman. We thank David Bowie for opening up our minds when it comes to creating music and he will forever be remembered for the legacy he has left behind. RIP David Bowie.
