Hey there FMHipHoppers, I know you guys are searching for the 411 so let’s get into it. Teyana Taylor’s second album “K.T.S.E.” released under Kanye West’s GOOD music production in the summer of 18’. Earlier this year, Teyana announced a visual for the fan-favorite ‘WTP’ which was to arrive January 19th. Yet, the day has come and gone with no premiere, and a mysterious disappearance of Taylor’s entire Instagram. This has sparked quite a few rumors, from legal issues to infidelity and pregnancy scandals. Let’s start with the legal issues. Apparently, Team Kanye came to an agreement with DJ Junior Vasquez to sample his former alia Ellis D’s song “Work That P*ssy”, agreeing to a small licensing fee. However, after listening to the song, Vasquez commented on it being almost identical and vouged for a more fair licensing fee. Although Vasquez later became a creddited writer to the song, perhaps there are still some i’s to dot and t’s to cross before def jam can release the video. Rumors have been floating around after Teyana, who recently wrote a song called “3 Way” which talks about pleasing her man with a threesome, wiped her Instagram clean and fans quickly started piecing together that there may be some trouble in Taylor and Shumpert’s marriage. Porn star, Alby Rydes, has been accused of being the third wheel in Taylor and Shumpert’s bedroom however, Teyana Taylor cleared the air.
“1. I’ve never seen/touched that girl in my life, 2. My page is gone because I’m upset at Def Jam for not dropping my damn “WTP” video on time, per usual. 3. It’s really sad that lies are entertained so much than the truth. 4. Iman is not dumb he know I’d kill him. End of story,” tweeted Taylor.
Do you think Taylor is telling the truth or covering up for her husband’s slip up? Is all this protesting the untimely release of WTP? Whatever the case, the clip is up and running. I guess all we can do now is enjoy the music video and speculate.
