This morning, DJ Mustard was involved in a car accident. The accident totaled Mustard’s car; however, Mustard only sustained minor injuries.
Today, DJ Mustard recounts the horrifying details of an accident that took out his truck and his bike but left him unharmed. In Mustard’s words
“Totaled my truck. Sh*t felt like a movie.”
Without a doubt, he met with a horrific experience.
The DJ openly shared the photos of the truck on social media. The images are shocking. After the post, Akademiks expressed relief, that the mega-producer is okay given the severity of the damages.
“Thank God #mustard is ok after the car crash.”
Agreed.
Details of the Accident
No one knows Mustard’s whereabouts at the time of the accident. In a single moment, he found himself unexpectedly hit by a drunk driver. He was not the only one affected. The drunk driver hit another car as well.
The Mustard recalls in his post how his car hit a wall with enough impact to discharge all airbags. Given the level of an impact, it is remarkable he walked away virtually unscathed.

In the DJ’s post, he maintained the focus on his welfare, reporting little about the status of the other individual hit. He also says little regarding the drunk driver. The assumption is that authorities are taking care of the situation. No need for further inquiry in that direction. What is of utmost importance is Mustard’s health and wellbeing.
Not everybody who finds themselves in a situation like Mustard walks away. We send out love light and hope for healing. May his story impact others who choose to drink and drive. With sincerest hopes, they will see the importance of placing a higher value on the lives of others.
