Drake To Receive ‘Artist Of Decade’ Honors At 2021 Billboard Music Awards

Drake has been dominating the charts throughout his career, so it only fits him to win an award for it ALL! Because the OVO King has been topping the Billboard for well over a decade, the music-oriented company has decided to pass him the Artist Of The Decade Award at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards. The award show, hosted by Nick Jonas, will air via NBC on May 23, 2021.

Mr. Graham holds the record for most Billboard Music Awards of any living artist with 27 in total. He’s also earned a bountiful of stats between 2009 and 2019, in which the honor is based on.

In total, he’s garnered nine No. 1 albums. And in addition, has nabbed 33 top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 – again, with six of those tracks going straight to No. 1. On Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, Drake has earned 18 No. 1 songs during that period as well.

Other stats include having a record of 232 song entries on the Billboard Hot 100, 120 top 40 hits, and 45 top 10 singles.

Drake is the only solo male artist to have stayed on various Billboard charts for more than 50 cumulative weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. He’s also obtained 22 No. 1 singles on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Song chart.

Way to go Certified Lover Boy! We send our gratitude and congratulations. CLUTCH indeed!
