Drake announces ‘Certified Lover Boy’ is finally nearing completion

Drake is finally finishing his album

The most award-winning Billboard artist is finally providing an update on his next project. When speaking on Sound 42 Radio a few days ago, Drake revealed that Certified Lover Boy is nearing completion.

More specifically, the album is in the mixing stage. Basically, this means that Drake’s musical contributions to the project are done. It’s up to the engineers to put the finishing touches on the album before giving it to the public.

This falls in line with his announcement that the album would be released before the end of summer. Fans are surely hoping this promise becomes a reality.

There’s a lot leading up to this announcement

While he’s always in the news, Drake has been particularly busy recently. Last week, he was spotted shooting a music video with Future. There’s a big possibility this is for a song on Certified Lover Boy.

Drake also just appeared on a new single with singer Brent Faiyaz.
