Certified Lover Boy (CLB) is one of the most anticipated projects to be released this year. CLB was at the top of the XXL list for projects dropping in 2021. Originally announced more than a year ago, the expected date was to be in January. Due to a knee injury, Champagne Papi decided to push it back indefinitely.

In early February, “What A Time to be a Slime” feat Thugger was leaked. Although it sounded unfinished, fans are hoping it makes it to CLB.

Last week “What’s Next” (rumored to be on CLB) was leaked, sending Drake fans into a frenzy.

DJ Akademiks says he has OVO ties, and he definitely, took to Twitter to act as a liaison.

“He said that ‘What’s Next’ record was just a ‘warm-up ting.’ He’s working overtime creating this next masterpiece.. CLB on the way for real”.

“CLB update. I’ve seen some people say, ‘oh, it was supposed to drop tonight,’ as on Thursday night. No. No, it’s not dropping then. Drake told me that it’s going to be dropping before April, so he’s not waiting until summer to drop his sh*t, he said during a live-stream. I don’t wanna say before April… April or before,” he concluded.

Akademiks also alleges Drake is shooting music videos, and one of them will likely be coming out this week! He didn’t specify if the video would be “What’s Next” or not.

Drakes team has said unless CLB news comes from Drake himself, the information should not be trusted. Ak, however, says his messages are coming straight from “The Boy,” aka Drake.
