Drake once more immerses himself in the film industry with “Spiral!”

According to industry sources, Drizzy Drake will executive produce the upcoming film “Spiral!” “Spiral” is a psychological thriller directed by Petra Collins. The plot centers around the bad side of social media and the horrors that can ensue. Pop juggernaut Selena Gomez will also star in the film!

Most fans of Drake (Aubrey Drake Graham) are familiar with his versatility.  The chart-topping rapper works hard to build credibility in the entertainment world. Unsurprisingly, when he is not working on music projects, he is tackling television and film. Indeed, his filmography and discography prove his efforts. Thus, fans are expecting nothing less from “Spiral.” As most know, Drake was reading scripts prior to picking up the mic. Before entering the hip-hop industry, he starred in the high-school series Degrassi: The Next Generation.

Newbie is not a term that defines the Canadian crooner. With this project, he is building a power base in the industry, and had already tried his hand as an executive producer on  HBO series Euphoria and Netflix’s Top Boy. Impressively, the former project won three Emmy awards. While “Spiral” tackles a different genre, it will be worth tuning in.

No one can pinpoint Drizzy’s next moves. As notably, fans are still anxiously awaiting the release of his sixth studio album, “Certified Lover Boy”. Nevertheless, what we do know, he is not planning on stopping anytime soon.

But whatever the project, it will be worthy of checking out.
