Dreezy and Jacquees Call It Quits!

Rapper Dreezy and R&B singer Jacquees have called it quits in their love affair… and things got messy. 

Back in 2019, Dreezy interviewed with RapUp TV and opened up about her budding romance with the self-proclaimed King of R&B. She talked about how there’s more to him than we are able to see, and even boasts about their special Valentine’s day together (see below). 

“When I met him, I’m like, ‘Oh, you a real person. Like, you got a mama, you got bills, you running a whole business. This shit not easy. I know firsthand ’cause I’m an artist. To kinda step around his world and his career and see how he handle it, I got nothing but respect for it.”

Dreezy took to Twitter to publicly announce the split by posting “single” followed by a shrug emoji after having posted on her Instagram story what many would consider to be subliminal messages, such as Instagram memes and even a post stating “when I stop answering the phone, it’s a problem.” 

Things escalated from there as Jacquees took it upon himself to respond. We, as onlookers, watched the drama unfold. The two exchanged some parting words on the social media platform.

As of late, Dreezy has been posting on her Twitter about how she’s getting used to sleeping alone again, how she’s feeling like herself again, and how she’s back in the studio, whereas Jacquees posted “missin you…”, and ultimately has remained unbothered since.
