Legendary rapper, Eminem, has continued to make history since his 1998 debut.
Eminem Enters The Billions Club A Second Time.
The 49-year-old emcee announced that his song, “Without Me” has become a part of the Spotify Billions Club. The song appeared on his 2002 album, The Eminem Show. Can you believe that 2022 marks 20 years since the album was released? Times Flies!
Eminem posted the amazing news via his Twitter page on Jan. 27, with a caption saying,
“Could start a revolution, polluting the airwaves. #WithoutMe now in the @spotify #BillionsClub.”
He concluded his post with a link to the club, which takes one to a playlist of songs that reached over a billion streams on the app. Songs on the playlist include “Kiss Me More” by Doja Cat feat. SZA, “MONTERO” by Lil Nas X, “Blinding Lights” by the Weekend and many more.
The Missouri native had already been a part of the club when his collaboration song with Nate Dogg hit over a billion streams in February 2021. The track, called “Til I Collapse” was also released in 2002.

On Jan. 26, Eminem also announced that artist Damien Hirst reimagined 12 of his iconic album covers for Interscope records’ 30th anniversary. He posted a video clip including the artwork with a caption that read,
“@damienhirst reimagined 12 of my album covers for @interscope’s 30th anniversary! Limited edition vinyl drop on @ntwrk this Saturday to raise money for the Iovine and Young’s new school in SoCal – link in bio.”
A week prior to Slim Shady’s great news, he appeared in the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show trailer. The rapper will be performing at the annual big event on Feb. 13 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Other artists that will be performing include Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Mary J. Blige. In the trailer, Eminem appeared as his current self battling a hologram of his old self.
