Finding something interesting to do with our Wednesday nights has been quite a task since the first season of Empire wrapped. Things just haven’t been the same since Lucious and Cookie left us hanging. Luckily, today, it was announced that the hit series’ second season has been confirmed for 18 episodes. The first season only consisted of 12 episodes, so this is great news! Part 1 of the show will air in the fall, and Part 2 will be on in the spring.
More episodes aren’t the only addition to blockbuster series, word on the street is that singer Ne-Yo will be coming on board as a music producer alongside Timbaland. Ne-Yo will not be appearing on the show, however.
But that’s not all! It’s been reported that a fourth son will be added to the cast next season. The son, played by Zac Efron will be Lucious’ love child. Talk about a plot twist! Check it out [HERE]
The show will maintain its Wednesday at 9 PM time slot when it premieres this fall.
