Chiraq’s finest, EQ,and Bigg Baby pay ode to Chicago in their newest song, “You Decide.”
In the trap symphony offering, the musicians warn those who are thinking of crossing them, saying that they’ve got the city on their back. EQ assists with the song’s hook and second verse while Bigg Baby carries the first.
Bigg Babby’s verse sees the rapper taking pride in his accomplishments and money-minded mentality. He raps, “I’m chasing Forbes/As a youngin yeah, I wanted more. Jumped off the porch into a Porshe.” Additionally, Bigg Baby details his charm with the women, before asking side talkers if they really want the smoke.
“I’m not vegan, you want beef?” he spits. “We can go to war/I hold a torch/ Roll with killers, they have no remorse.”
Then, EQ uses his auto-croon to speak on a similar fate with having hittas and the ladies, but like Bigg Baby, he’s more focused on getting to the bag than exchanging vows. “Married to the game, throwing money when you throwing rice,” he raps. Elsewhere, EQ notifies haters that he can’t be fooled because he’s far from naive.
“I done earned my stripes up in the field/You cannot finesse me,” he spits with a sure-fire spirit.
Cadence-wise, the duo oscillates between an aggressive, melodic, and bouncy one.
