It’s been almost a week since DMX has been on life support.
The “what you really want” rapper overdosed and was hospitalized after a heart attack. His ex-manager and lawyer have been reporting the rapper’s conditions stating, “we’re just praying for Earl,” aka DMX’s recovery. Tonight his condition took a toll on world fans. Unfortunately, the rapper was announced “dead” on notable hip-hop blogs like RAP, SAINT, and MY MIX TAPEZ via Instagram. Here at FM HIP HOP, we refused to report the most loved rapper’s passing in fear of disclosing inaccurate news. We’re glad we held off because he’s not dead.
Upon more research, we discovered the discrepancy made with the false reports of Mr. Simmons’s death. It appears that DMX’s long-time friend, comedian Luenell posted and quickly deleted her IG story claiming her friend was dead. Since then, other hip hop blogger’s deleted their “RIP DMX” posts as well.
Thank God she deleted this post; however, the comedian’s Instagram story still leaves conflicting thoughts.
Thankfully, DMX remains in a coma and is still with us.
As DMX is still nonresponsive, his family will have to determine the future of his life. Several years ago, the rapper publicly declared his life’s rededication to his faith (Christianity). Many fans were perplexed but more supportive than the latter. Nobody knew what DMX was dealing with. Due to covid 19, only a minimal number of families have stayed with Simmons. A liable source reported his ex-wives, children, and fiancee held a prayer vigil for the rapper Monday night. We are hoping and praying for DMX. As we await a miracle for the beloved rapper, we believe his immediate family will make the right choice. Until then, prayers up!
