“Fast and Furious 9,” A Notorious Movie Series Scored Huge, With $160 Million Internationally Going Beyond North America
Firstly, Eight overseas markets including China and North Korea are phenomenal. Sources have stated that $135 million came from China alone, $9.9 million for North Korea, $6.2 million in the Middle East, and $2.4 million in Hong Kong. A point to consider is, “Fast 9” is set to be the biggest opening for a Hollywood movie since the latest pandemic hit, and can pursue breaking more records.
Universal’s president of international distribution Veronika Kwan Vandenberg highlighted the demand for movies. “Moviegoers are eager to come back to theatres when the right movie is out there “. “It’s a great movie for the Chinese market as they have a strong Fan base.”
