Fetty Wap’s four-year-old daughter died

A leading rapper has suffered a tragedy. Fetty Wap’s four-year-old daughter Lauren died. In an Instagram post, Lauren’s mother Turquoise Miami announced the passing of her daughter. No news outlet has revealed the cause of the little girl’s death. Rumors claim that she died in her sleep after being ill for over a month; however, no confirmation has been made. 

Fetty Wap’s fifth child, Lauren was born in February 2017. She is one of six children Wap has fathered. Zyheir, his sixth child, was born in 2018.

In the past, Fetty Wap has been criticized for his parenting skills, but this time his ex-girlfriend Turquoise Miami defended him.

 “The internet had very negative energy towards our child which bought me distress reading, so please stop any negativity towards him,” she said. “Lauren loved her daddy too just like she loves me and he mourning hard just like me.”

So far one parent has made a public statement about Lauren’s passing

Lauren was the inspiration for Fetty Wap’s performance at the Rolling Loud Music Festival. 

“LoLo daddy did that s–t for you last night baby girl,” the 30-year-old New Jersey native wrote on Instagram after the show. 

At this time, there has been no public response from the rapper in regards to the loss of his daughter. 

Wap’s ex-girlfriend, Lauren’s mother, released a statement on her Instagram about her daughter’s death. 

“This is my amazing, beautiful, funny, vibrant, loving, talented, smart, and hardheaded princess mermaid Aquarius,” Miami wrote. “If you see this post scrolling by with her comment or just say to yourself ‘I love you LAUREN’ because they say that souls can feel your love.”

In her post, she showed Lauren bouncing and swimming at the pool, commemorating the dedication and love the parents felt for their daughter.
