Irv Gotti has a story to Tale

Irv Gotti is making all things possible, with his new television project for B.E.T called Tales. Imagine being able to see your favorite song come to life, and not only does it come to life but it’s a real story line added to it with all kinds of twist and turns. Tales turns songs into one-two hour episodes and anthology series, Gotti says the brilliant thing about the Tales series is that every episode is a standalone episode.  Irv Gotti best known for his Murder INC record label is now focused on film.  Irv’s  Idea for Tales was 1st pitched to president of programming for B.E.T Stephen Hill who was automatically on board with the idea. Stephen Hill wanted Irv to create one episode and promised that if it went over well he would order more. Not satisfied with just the opportunity of creating one episode Irv knew he needed more to get his vision seen. Rather than just accept B.E.T’s offer Irv said during an interview with The Breakfast Club  setting up a meeting with his good friend and fellow mogul Jay Z  sparked the deal of Tales also being featured on Tidal but the bonus would be Tidal would premiere the episodes after B.E.T and the episodes would be the raw ,uncut ,with longer versions.

Once B.E.T caught wind of the Tidal deal they ordered eight episodes for Tales first season. The first Tales episode is derived from the N.W.A record Fuck the Police, the episode takes a spin where it will depict white people having to deal with police brutality and police killings from black cops already sounding ground breaking? It doesn’t stop there they will have episodes from songs from the Notorious B.I.G, Meek Mill, and Fetty Wap. Irv is known for making musical hits and now he’s taking a huge shot with films.
