#FMSpotlight: Bake Leon – “HURT” (Watch)

Bake Leon encompasses the charisma, rawness, and emotional depth of a true R&B star. Likewise, some records introduce his hip-hop prowess. Without delay, the musician delves into gritty and honest bars. Once the beat lets loose, Leon lets his emotion paint a vivid picture of various situations. The themes in Leon’s music center on his money-oriented mentality, loyalty, love, loss, and so much more. 

He told Sheen Magazine

“My music is indescribable because I’m not labeling in any category. I created my own category, which is called R&TrapB. I talk about the way of living hustling on the corner to being heartbroken in a toxic relationship. You will have to listen to my music to understand.”

Not too long ago, Mr. Leon dropped a trap love serenade titled “HURT.” Over the calm R&B offering, the singer expresses how much his special lady means to him. He prays that she doesn’t break his heart.

Tapping into his signature auto-croon, he sings, “When I first laid eyes on you, I couldn’t help but notice/You the deal/I hope its real/Girl I want your potion.”

As the song continues, he admits to being sprung right off the bat. In other words, when you know, you know. He vows to do right by her. Also, Leon intends on giving her the finer things in life. Afterward, he lists why he’s her perfect match. If she betrays him, Leon says his view on love will change.

He delivers, “Girl don’t you play with me/You’ll turn me to a savage.”

The song closes with Leon expressing how this beauty has captivated his heart.
