Following the release of his songs, “Spring Lover” and “Alive,” which have both surpassed hundreds and thousands of streams,Brent Ewing drops more flavor for your ear with his newest single, “Tuscan Leather.” In short, his musical styling is a mesh of pop and R&B. His singing, however, is akin to the likes of Giveon and Sampha.
“Tuscan Leather” is a warm pop offering that sees Brent Ewing expressing his feelings toward a woman who “came and changed the whole game.” Without delay, the crooner speaks about how he’s swooned and how his life has positively turned around. Ever since she came into the picture, Brent has been all smiles.
As the song continues, he unveiled mid-chorus that he’s been searching for his dream girl, which just so happens to be her. Additionally, the “Spring Lover” musician admits that he’s never been head-over-heels before.
“Waiting for somebody like you/You showed me what is love/I never knew bout real love,” he delivers.
In the second verse, Brent insists that they put their phones and other distractions on DND. Instead, he suggests for them to spend some alone time together.
“Come closer/Caress your body /Made for sin/I bit the apple/For you,” he delivers.
Before “Tuscan Leather” ends, the vocalist says that she’s the muse for his willingness to love hard. He ultimately would love to give her the world and then some. Vocally, Brent carries a soulful baritone-like register. He also makes sure to pair his tonality with sweet harmonies.
