Renz Scruggshas officially dropped his visual for “Miami (feat. Rashaad Ali).”
The captivating music video premiered yesterday. Inspired by the sunny state, he decided to create a solid banger that encompasses his love for the Cuban resident-based city. Ultimately, the song serves as a tribute.
“Creating the new song was like second nature,” he explains. “I’ve been fascinated with Miami since I was young. I wrote the song and only have been to Miami for maybe 2 hours at the time. One of my boys knew how much I loved Miami because I would always say, ‘I’m getting rich and moving to Miami.’ So he wrote the hook because he knew my love for Miami.”
Over the preppy R&B offering, Renz Scruggs expresses how Miami is the perfect getaway to unwind from all the chaos life brings.
He raps, “Living life like paradise in the 305/Blue water and every day seeing sunshine.”
Afterward, the musician counts his blessings. He’s come a long way and is eating the fruits of his labor.
The North East, Ohio-native continues to show how happy he is to be in the Palm Tree-ridden state, saying
“From Ohio where it’s cold in the winter to a city where it’s known for the women and the culture way different.”

As the song carries on, Renz Scruggs explains why he’s fascinated with the city. Elsewhere, he expresses what he enjoys about Miami.
“Was in love with Miami when I was watching shottas.”
Then, he reflects on the come-up. The rapper worked without delay to live the life he truly wanted. Because of his hustle, he and his team is getting to the bag.
“Everything I dreamed of turned to reality cause I claimed it/ Now Every day is like a celebration.”
Rashaad Ali sings the chorus with an ethereal register.
The scenes in “Miami” document the city and all it has to offer.
One of the scenes at the same garage that Chris Brown and Drake were filming a music video for their smash hit, “No Guidance.” This scene seemingly corresponds with Renz Scrugg’s musical styling and the respect he has for both musicians.

The North East, Ohio-native continues by saying:
“I accept Miami for everything it is, and I appreciate it so much.”
“Miami” is undoubtedly a signal of Renz Scruggs being present in the music scene and how it’s his for the taking.
“The message behind this song is how a city like Miami makes a kid from northeast Ohio feel. Daydreaming of one day being in Miami, then finally it happens. And it’s everything you thought it would be.”
