Sir Blayke – “1137 Merrill St.”

Starting music since he was 16, Sir Blayke currently residing in Los Angeles is an upcoming R&B/Pop Artists, that you should look out for. Hailing from Chicago, IL, Blayke grew up listening to Gospel, R&B, and Pop, which pushed the type of artists he is today. Sir Blayke and his debut EP released May 19^th, 2019, titled “1137 Merrill St.” This EP is a great way to see what he’s all about and then some. He’s worked previously with Ester Dean, Harmony Samuels, Prince Chrishan, Rahky, and Hitmaka. He has even written songs for Queen Niaja, Teyana Taylor, Empire, The Bonfyre, etc.

For one thing, his high number of collaborations with many artists who knows what Sir Blayke has in store for this year. Currently, Sir Blayke is working on his follow-up project but hopefully, it comes sooner than later. His recent single, “Get You” really shows you what he’s capable of with his voice and a look forward to what’s to come.

Listening to his latest Ep will have you simping over some girl you’ve got on your mind. Next thing you know you are serenading her while being 6ft apart. In “Due Time” he’s expressing to a girl they’ll be together but with patience, they’ll be together through the struggle.

” You like patience, I know it. Plenty of questions for the situation, I know. You can be taken (that’s obvious), I know this. In Due Time I’m gonna make you mine.”

Listening to his album, how he’s created his own path, and ties in creating songs for other big-name artists shows that he’s got a good path in front of him. Check out the album by Sir Blayke-“1137 Merrill St.”
