Yas Muva! It is no secret that Amber Rose is the epitome of sexy and confidence however, not only positivity comes with being beautiful. Women are mainly targets for sexual harassment, victim blaming, double sexual standards and Slut-shaming. But, Captain Save-A-Hoe came to put an end to this once and for all!
This past weekend marked the 3rd annual Amber Rose Slut Walk in L.A.
Every October Muva shuts the show down with her confidence and creativity. Amber Rose, dressed as “Captain Save a Hoe,” welcomed her participants to her third annual SlutWalk, which works toward “raising awareness about sexual injustice and gender inequality … while shifting the paradigm of rape culture.”
Amber Rose was joined by hundreds of women, including her best-friend Blac Chyna and rapper boyfriend 21 Savage.
Moving forward, Rose and a few hundred women marched through Los Angeles in a SlutWalk organized by Rose’s nonprofit organization, the Amber Rose Foundation.
According to the Washington post, the word “slut” is a word that’s been used to control women and promote sexuality. There’s no clear rubric for what makes someone a slut.
On the other hand, the Slut Walk isn’t only for women but men as well and anyone is welcome! Instead of marching the Walk of Shame Amber calls it a Walk of “No Shame”.
