Azealia Banks can’t mess with Cardi B even if she wanted too!
Looks like Azealia Banks caught the Sore Loser Syndrome after firing multiple since deleted shots at Raptress Cardi B this week. Banks doesn’t have a great history when it comes too giving another female artist credit. And lets just say Cardi B isn’t the one too mess with.
“Bodak Yellow” hit number one this week on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S. Just in case you missed it Banks expressed her frustration towards the media’s reaction to Cardi’s success story via Twitter. In addition, one of Banks twitter rants went on to say, “I’m sorry, black industry men are too hype for this Latina girl I’ve never seen them jump like this for Remy or Nicki.” But what does ethnicity have to do with anything? As a matter a fact, to Banks, a whole lot. According to screen shots captured from XXL, Banks wrote, “Charlemagne and black men in Hip-Hop should’ve gotten me Remy AND Nicki a number one before they gave Cardi or Iggy (Azalea) one.” Hmmm.. sounds a bit more like jealously to me since she has yet hit number one on the Billboard charts.
Number don’t lie! And Cardi’s unbothered clap back didn’t either.
The Dominican and Trinidadian Rapper fired back with a video clip of Banks in the club turning up to her number one hit “Bodak Yellow” that captioned, “One of the reasons Bodak Yellow went #1 cuz even the HATERS LOVE IT !!”
Tuesday night, Banks posted a number of audio clips to her Instagram story calling Cardi B a “F*ck toy.”
Also, claiming to know the ghostwriter who wrote the hit.
Banks posted another clip mentioning “Bodak Yellow” is a “Great song.”
She defended herself by stating, ” I popped a molly that night. I was dancing to everything… Don’t lie to yourself Honey.” Will the drama ever end?
