After 2017’s Culture standout single “Bad N Boujee “helped make Migos a household name, they continued the series with Culture II featuring “Motor Sport,” “Narcos,” “Stir Fry,” and “Walk It Talk It.”. But Migos fans clearly want more from the trio. During an impromptu Twitter Q&A session, Migos member Offset confirmed the followup to 2018’s Culture II. The third installment of the Culture series will drop in 2020. When a fan asked him “Wen are the migos dropping their next album?” and “Culture 3 really soon?,” Offset replied, “Next Year” on the album’s “anniversary.”
Migos is in
In the meantime, there is plenty of material for Migos fans to bump to. Each member released solo projects in 2018. Quavo’s Quavo Huncho dropped in October 2018 and Takeoff’s The Last Rocket dropped that November. Recently Offset joined the solo album status earlier this February with Father of 4 which includes hit songs like “Red Room,” “Clout” with his wife Cardi B and “How Did I Get Here” featuring J. Cole. When asked “Will there be more solo albums from you guys in the future?,” Offset let the fans know that it’s “Gang sh*t” from here on out. I’m glad we got a taste of what the trio can do solo, but it’s time to get back to the Migos roots.
Along with sharing details on the new project, Offset also announced he will be releasing new tracks to a “repacked” Father of 4, another collaborative Without Warning 2 album with 21 Savage, and confirmed a Migos x Lil Uzi Vert project.
Hope you all are excited for the release in 2020 and until then we’ll let Migos have their much needed break.
