I’ve always loved to sing, as a kid, I would plug my headphones into the Mic port and record myself singing.
It was a pleasure interviewing PROMKNGHT to discuss his latest project Kiss as well as what to look for next. Check out the interview below as we dive in head first for a Kiss!
How did you learn that you knew how to sing?
I feel like I knew how to sing early on, I remember when I started recording myself back in the day on my headphones. I would plug my headphones into the Mic port recorded myself. I would blast Aaliyah,  back in those days, you couldn’t look up lyrics. I would literally write down her lyrics with a pen and paper. That’s how I learned to write/arrange the songs.

For the people who have not discovered your music yet, how would you best describe your sound?

I’m laid back but I still turn up, anyone who knows me knows that I know how to be the life of the party. I wanted to make sure I showed that side of me also, I wanted to put a little extra twist. That’s exactly what I wanted to portray, I wanted to show my loving side, the side that reveals when I have broken and the sexy side; that’s what Kiss is! It’s upfront, its sweet, it’s sexy! That’s actually why I choose the name Kiss  Keeping It Simply Sweet; it’s straightforward.

“I want to make music for your soul”

Good Service
Don’t you love when you go to a restaurant and they have great customer service? How deep do you get when ensuring you are giving “Good Service” to make sure you keep the good ones coming back?
I can get deep, I like pleasure. I like it more, just knowing I’m pleasing my partner pleases me. That’s how you keep your customers coming back!
SummerTime
Describe something that makes you feel like SummerTime?
Making Music makes me feel like SummerTime! Every time I write, writing gives me that same good feeling, good air, that fresh feeling, making good music in general. There are times when I hear music and it reminds me of Summer Time
Facts
Tell us some facts about you that will help your fans identify with you? What is something about you people would not get from listening to Kiss?
I’m a low key nerd, I just create all day; I love creating period. Creating is therapeutic, I can go edit a picture and create a new design I’ve been a creator since I was young.  Editing creating message boards, website design, graphic design, were all things I was into before I started writing. I”m a curious person, I like trying new things and experimenting, I’m very experimental. I experiment with music, I grew into loving music and singing because it gave me an outlet to create.

Excellent job at portraying who you are with this EP, from production to content with relatable songs, and your inviting vibe is felt throughout your music; a prime example of Good Service!
Make sure you check out Kiss the EP available of all platforms.
