Ty Dolla $ign teams back up with YG on “Ex” (Listen)
With the Beach House 3 Project set to release on Oct. 27th Ty Dolla $ign drops another single “Ex” teaming up with his old buddy YG to feature on the hit. The dynamic duo worked together on “Dolla $ign” a collab with DJ Mustard, and “Only Right”, they have a good history of hits. Produced by Bongo By The Way a sample from the 90’s RnB group 112 and The Notorious BIG’s “Only You” BadBoy Remix. Ty also uses his wordplay to throw in a little Darnell Jones when he sangs “Where I Wanna Be” as he sings “I just text my main chick/ I told her I ain’t coming home/ I just text my main chick/ I told her I ain’t coming home, tonight.”
The roll out for Beach House 3 has many of us anticipating its release in a few weeks, “Dawsin’s Breek” featuring Jeremih and The-Dream and Lil Wayne-assisted “Love U Better” were the first releases from the album and have already created a good buzz.
YG gives his take on his love for naked women, jet skis, his Ex’s and Main chick, I can’t wait to see the visuals for this track! “Leave your main squeeze for these naked bitches, yeah/ That’s how, you know, when it’s all bad / She call me, I text her I could call back/ But she imagine in her head I’m doing all that”.
Beach House 3 is said to have features from Lil Wayne, Damien Marley and more. Make sure you check it out on 10/27.
