J. Cole’s “Middle Child” Video Has Fans Searching For Hidden Meanings

J. Cole, a North Caroline native, has managed to stay in the hiphop spotlight for years. From 4 Your Eyez Only to KOD, the rapper has released hit after hit. His latest project is no exception. Most recently, J. Cole released his music video for his newest single “Middle Child” and it has fans buzzing.

J. Cole has widely been known for the depth and meaning in his music. This go around, Cole has had fans guessing what all the hidden meaning in the “Middle Child” video could be. Most of the video, the rapper is front and center on the screen with a lot of background action happening around him. Some have said this could represent how a middle child in a family really feels- isolated and even ignored. Fans are also speculating that Cole sneakily put references to other rappers he has publicly had beef with, like Lil Pump. The video also features an all-female marching band which, knowing Cole, was no accident.

As far as future projects go, Cole has announced that his much anticipated next album, Dreamville, is now in post-production and will be released in April.
