#CherryJuice: Forbes Releases Their Annual List of “The World’s Most Powerful Women”
Forbes 100 Most Powerful Women | Who RUN the WORLD? Girlssss!!!
On Tuesday, Forbes released its annual list of The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women. Out of 300 candidates from around the world, Forbes selected only 100 most influential women from eight categories or power bases:
- Billionaires
- Business
- Celebrity
- Finance
- Media
- Philanthropy and intergovernmental organizations
- Politics
- Technology
This year 2015’s lineup featured 34 women of color, including internationally-known powerhouses, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and of course Beyoncé Knowles-Carter.
Taking the #1 spot on the list from the Politics category is Angela Merkel from Germany. Hillary Clinton is right behind here taking the #2 spot. Michelle Obama takes the #10 spot and Oprah Winfrey comes in at #12. The list goes on and on until 100.
