I adore Miguel. I don’t usually go for the smooth, artsy, rockstar type, but Miguel makes it so easily likable. His voice is amazing, I’ve seen him live twice, and his songs, even the motivational, spiritual ones are so sensual. It all seems very authentic, matched with his Mexican-Black heritage, and his San Pedro/Inglewood upbringing.
He’s doing the most promo currently for his album Wildheart. While the preview ep featuring Coffee, NWA and Hollywood Dreams dropped some months ago, we should’ve known he would revamp the hype with a sexy, sensual mini-movie, entitled, WILDHEART Chapter 1: Find What You Love And Let It Kill You. Of course the video has to open and go straight to Miguel laying it on a beautiful girl in some dark corner, and the first thing you wish is that, that beautiful girl was you. The mini-video acts as visuals for tracks off WILDHEART, starting first with Going To Hell.
It then transitions into N.W.A, and we see Miguel looking like a sexy bad ass, with a feature from Kurupt. It’s all so west coast.
