Jeezy has been very active as of late. Only a day after releasing an undisclosed EP in honor of the Million Man March’s 20th anniversary; Young Jizzle is back with more music. The anticipation and buzz for his new LP “Church In These Streets” is growing as the weeks to its release wind down. Just last week, album artwork was released to the public and now yet again another record has also been released. Pastor Young calls this one “Sweet Life” which features the ever-so-talented Janelle Monae.
“Sweet Life embodies Jeezy’s efforts to stay somewhat conscious as an artist and give insight into his illustrious career. The recent records he has released and the symbolism he’s been trying to convey really depict him as a “prophet of the streets”. The message behind “Sweet Life” becomes bridged together with the thematic and angelic vocal stylings of Janelle Monae. It is a C4 produced record. “Church In These Streets” will be available on November 13th on Apple Music. Until then, stay tuned for more Sunday Services.
