Wiz has been releasing a wide variety of music lately; keeping his multilayered fanbase more than satisfied. First to drop out if these recent bangers was “King of Everything”, then he released “Most of Us”; ID labs production used for both tracks. Appealing to his laud back pot smokers, he then dropped “Just Because” produced by Harry Fraud and “Outsiders” produced by Big Jerm and Christo. This new record “Fucc Day” incorporates the stylings of in-house producer Ricky P, and the track has a sound all its own. This is a lady-friendly record; indicated by its slow, measured approach and laid back vibe. Ricky P does a great job infusing trap drums and leisurely melodic synths. These elements complement Wiz’s ‘weed rap’ flow. This track shows Wiz’s versatility as well as accessibility for the pop market.
“Fucc Day” has a raunchiness to it but the subtleties of this song make it radio friendly. No update on what tracks will land on Rolling Papers 2, but this song would definitely be a “shoe-in”. Stay tuned for more as we follow the progress of the album and more fire tunes from the Wizzle man!
