Every time Rihanna does any single thing, its always an explosion. Well, October 7th, at the Los Angeles Mama art Gallery, the “Four, Five Seconds” crooner revealed visuals for her brand new album as well as it’s title, ANTI. Of course, there was tons of media, fans, drinks, as well as designated time for arts and crafts; fans in attendance were blind folded and instructed to press their hands, smearing black ash, against a white board with braille translations of poetry written by Roy Nachum and Chloe Mitchelle, for ANTI‘s album packaging. This project is surely inspirational, as it encourages those with sight to stop being so blind-sighted. It also is a huge reflection of the pop artist, Ms. Fenty is anti; never afraid of being different when it comes to reputation, fashion, and even media. She is like a breath of fresh air, I’m intrigued.
“Rihanna and contemporary artist Roy Nachum collaborated on the cover and the front and back covers will feature poetry by Chloe Mitchell inscribed in braille.” -THEFADER
The cover includes a very young Rihanna, whose eyes are hidden behind a gold crown, holding a black balloon. Although the red and white album cover is original, the poem written and printed, in braille, over the art work adds another standard of uniqueness. Rihanna is extremely proud of the theme of her newest album, exclaiming to fans, just before the the black veil, covering her visuals, was removed,
“This is my favorite album cover I’ve ever done.” -Rihanna
And afterward,
“Sometimes the ones who have sight are the blindest.” – Rihanna
Although everyone had such a great night, no one left with knowledge on ANTI‘s release date or was able to hear any unreleased music from the album. However, ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’was played, and of course jammed to. I can’t wait to get my hands on the album; as I am a huge Rihanna fan, I mean who isn’t?

When Rihanna‘s Kanye West and Paul McCartney team-up “FourFiveSeconds” dropped in January, fans and industry insiders presumed a new Rihanna album was coming soon. After all, her last LP was in 2012 — even 10 months ago, it had already been the longest gap between Rihanna albums ever.– Billboard
