Rihanna Named Contributing Creative Director at Stance!
Rihanna is on fire! The Island gal has given us hit after hit for many years, but now she wants us to rock in our socks… her socks to be more exact. Stance unveiled Rihanna as its latest “Punk and Poet” which is a term used as the brand’s spokesperson and will also be contributing creative director. According to vogue, Candy Harris, the vice president of the women’s division of Stance Socks, has spoken about the collaboration with RiRi and said
“She’s one of the few women in fashion whose style can go from street to couture in the blink of an eye.”
Stance will also launch a very limited-edition selection of “Murder Rih Wrote” over-the-knee and crew-cut socks designed with the superstar in celebration of the news. Harris continued on saying
“I know a lot of people are probably saying ‘Why socks?’ And that’s really the beauty of it, and that’s why Rihanna’s perfect, because she’s constantly innovating and looking to see what’s next. Socks are not really a trend; they’re a fashion staple.”
In September, eighteen styles will drop and will be followed by similarly sized holiday collection that is due to drop in November. Only RiRi can make socks more exciting and I know people can not wait for it to be released in stories.
