Zoe Kravitz Looks Amazing on the Cover of Nylon

Zoe Kravitz looks amazing as Nylon’s August cover girl. Seriously, like this is one magazine I’m not subscribed to, but she seriously makes me want to reconsider. We have yet to get enough of this Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet mix who is still experimenting and growing into an awesome dose of culture. Fresh off of Dope, Mad Max and being Alexis Bittar’s newest collection muse, Zoe Kravitz is becoming more fearless about being who she is and trusting in that.

In the cover story we get a glimpse of insight of her experiencing eating disorders as well as initial trouble embracing herself as a black women and what that means. She also speaks on growing up in Miami, and her father being adamant that she was raised bearing some responsibility.
This was also my first introduction to her band, Lolawolf, that includes two others who play guitar and drums. Their music seems like a well put together mix of their favorite genres, hip-hop with the base, synthesizers for the electronica, all with Zoe singing/rapping witty lyrics describing thoughts young adults have. They just dropped a free mixtape, available on soundcloud here, with cute #girlpower tracks like House Keys. In it, we here Zoe exclaiming that she just wants her house key back, she’ll be good without you, she’ll find another you. I am all the way here for it.
