OVO Sound Radio plays hot new joint from Drake and Beyonce called “Can I”

Directly after premiering his joint album with Future (What A Time To Be Alive) on episode 6 of OVO Sound Radio, Drake decides to use episode 7 of the show to introduce; or reintroduce, the world to his newest collaboration with Beyonce. The song was first leaked back in May, which explains why it jas given listeners a Deja Vù feeling after hearing it once again. The full length, mastered version of the song was what OVO Sound Radio played just last week on episode 7.

This record has a very dark, sultry ambiance that is typical of both Drake and Queen B. Beyonce starts off the song with a very sexy, conversational tone in which she says, “Baby…..Can I?”. Melodic organ and keyboard tones guide the opening of the song into the first verse in which Drake does what he does best; getting you into your feelings (his life never seems too far off from our own). He gets right into the verse with “Bring you to the 6 where I really stay, show you why I am the way I am–Tell you what I think my biggest flaw is, I try to be consistent but I can’t”. Very honest words out of the most outspoken rapper of 2015. This record, judging by its length and its vibe, seems like it could be an interlude of sorts; maybe foreshadowing some more up and coming music out of both Drake and Beyonce. We last heard from them on a collaborative joint they did called “Mine”. Now yet another time around, they return with this sexy new single called “Can I”. Follow up with us on more new music!
